- 4 Fresh Peaches, sliced
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter
- 1/4 Cup Bourbon
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan lightly with butter and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- Caramelize the peaches by melting the butter in a medium saucepan, adding sugar, cinnamon, and bourbon.
- Transfer the caramelized peach mixture into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly.
- Make the cake batter by whisking together flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Beat the egg and add milk, vanilla extract, and remaining sugar in another bowl. Mix until combined.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour the batter over the caramelized peaches in the pan.
- Bake for about 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
Notes
