  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Prepare your tofu: Start by draining your firm tofu. Gently press it between paper towels or a clean kitchen towel to remove excess moisture. Cut into even strips or tenders.
  2. Make the marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine honey (or agave syrup), Dijon mustard, and olive oil. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Marinate the tofu: Place tofu strips into the bowl with the honey mustard mixture and toss gently. Let marinate for a minimum of 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  5. Coat the tofu: Roll marinated tofu strips in breadcrumbs until well coated.
  6. Arrange on baking sheet: Place coated tofu strips evenly on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between them.
  7. Bake to perfection: Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp.
  8. Serve and enjoy: Let them cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Pair with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes
