  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil)
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup nuts (pine nuts or walnuts)
  • 23 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Start by gathering your ingredients and making sure your workspace is clean.
  2. Blend the Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Garlic: In a food processor, add the sun-dried tomatoes and garlic cloves. Blend them together for about 15-20 seconds until you have a chunky mix.
  3. Add the Nuts: Toss in your choice of nuts! Pulse until everything is coarsely chopped.
  4. Incorporate the Basil: Add the fresh basil leaves to your food processor and blend until everything is mixed and vibrant.
  5. Pour in the Olive Oil: With the processor running, slowly stream in the olive oil and blend until you reach your desired consistency.
  6. Add Cheese, Salt, and Pepper: Toss in the grated Parmesan cheese! Pulse again to combine, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Taste and Adjust: Adjust seasoning or cheese according to your preference.
  8. Store or Serve: If not using right away, scoop into an airtight container and drizzle olive oil on top to preserve the color and flavor.
