Description

A flavorful twist on the classic grilled cheese, combining gooey cheese, creamy avocado, and spicy mayo for a delightful fusion dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, pepper jack, or mozzarella)
  • 1/4 cup of cooked shrimp (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of diced avocado
  • 1/4 cup of spicy mayonnaise
  • Butter for grilling

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: chop the shrimp and dice the avocado.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil if desired.
  3. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Layer the sandwich: butter side down, add cheese, shrimp, avocado, spicy mayo, and top with another slice of cheese and bread.
  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute before slicing.
