- 2 slices of bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, pepper jack, or mozzarella)
- 1/4 cup of cooked shrimp (optional)
- 1/4 cup of diced avocado
- 1/4 cup of spicy mayonnaise
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: chop the shrimp and dice the avocado.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil if desired.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer the sandwich: butter side down, add cheese, shrimp, avocado, spicy mayo, and top with another slice of cheese and bread.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a minute before slicing.
Notes
