- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 2 cups frozen tater tots
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add your shredded chicken, and stir for about 3-5 minutes until heated through.
- Pour in the ranch dressing and stir to combine.
- Spread the chicken and ranch mixture evenly in a greased 9-inch pie dish.
- Layer the tater tots on top of the chicken mixture.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously over the tater tots.
- Bake for about 25–30 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and the tater tots are golden brown.
- Let it cool for 5–10 minutes, then slice and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, try mixing in a variety of cheeses. You can also use leftover rotisserie chicken for convenience.
