Description
A deliciously gooey and nutritious cookie dough that’s perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings without the guilt.
Ingredients
- Unsalted Butter (1/2 cup)
- Brown Sugar (1/2 cup)
- Oat Flour (1 cup)
- Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon)
- Protein Powder (1/2 cup)
- Greek Yogurt (1/4 cup)
- Chocolate Chips (1/2 cup)
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Brown the Butter: Start by melting the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir it frequently until it foams, then watch for a change in color. You want it to turn a deep golden brown with a nutty aroma—about 5-7 minutes.
- Mix in the Sugars: Once your butter is browned, remove it from the heat and let it cool for about 5 minutes. In a mixing bowl, combine the warm browned butter with the brown sugar, stirring until it’s nice and smooth.
- Incorporate Yogurt and Vanilla: Stir in the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add the Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the oat flour, protein powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture into your wet ingredients and fold everything together.
- Stir in Chocolate Chips: Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Taste Test: Adjust sweetness or add more protein powder if desired.
- Chill (Optional): For an authentic cookie dough experience, chill the dough in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
