Ingredients

  • Pizza Sauce: store-bought or homemade
  • Mozzarella Cheese: fresh or shredded
  • Toppings: pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives
  • Butter: for brushing over the bread (or olive oil for dairy-free)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it with butter or oil.
  3. Layer slices of bread at the bottom of the dish, slightly overlapping.
  4. Spread pizza sauce generously over the bread.
  5. Add a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Layer more bread on top, followed by another layer of pizza sauce and cheese. Repeat until ingredients are used up.
