Ingredients
- Bread (Sourdough, Ciabatta, or your favorite type)
- Cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, or Gouda)
- Pesto Sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Butter (for grilling)
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients: Slice your bread and cheese.
- Heat up your pan: Set a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter the bread: Generously butter one side of each slice.
- Spread the pesto: On the unbuttered side, spread a layer of pesto.
- Add plenty of cheese on top of the pesto layer.
- Top it off with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook the sandwich: Place it in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Finish cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Slice and serve: Let it sit for a minute before slicing.
- Dig in and enjoy with a side of soup or salad.
