Description

Ingredients

  • Bread (Sourdough, Ciabatta, or your favorite type)
  • Cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, or Gouda)
  • Pesto Sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Butter (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Slice your bread and cheese.
  2. Heat up your pan: Set a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Butter the bread: Generously butter one side of each slice.
  4. Spread the pesto: On the unbuttered side, spread a layer of pesto.
  5. Add plenty of cheese on top of the pesto layer.
  6. Top it off with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
  7. Cook the sandwich: Place it in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  8. Finish cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  9. Slice and serve: Let it sit for a minute before slicing.
  10. Dig in and enjoy with a side of soup or salad.
