- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar (for crust)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar (for cream cheese layer)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup fresh blueberries, rinsed and drained
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the Pretzel Crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and ¼ cup of granulated sugar. Stir until coated.
- Press the pretzel mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish to form a crust. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown. Remove and let cool completely.
- Make the Cream Cheese Filling: In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, ¾ cup granulated sugar, and vanilla extract using an electric mixer until smooth.
- Fold in the Cool Whip until fully combined, creating a light and fluffy mixture.
- Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
- Add the strawberries and blueberries on top, arranging in a flag pattern.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
This dish can be made a day in advance to enhance flavors. Serve with a sprig of mint for garnish.
