- 4 thin chicken cutlets
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan (for sauce)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the breading station with flour, eggs, and a breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture.
- Coat each chicken cutlet in flour, dip in egg, and press into the breadcrumb mixture.
- Sear the chicken in a large skillet with olive oil and butter for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden.
- Finish cooking in the oven for about 10-12 minutes.
- Make the creamy garlic sauce by melting remaining butter, sautéing garlic, adding broth, cream, and Parmesan.
- Serve plated with sauce and garnish.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk or cashew cream.
