- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 bag (approximately 28 oz) Tater Tots, frozen
- 4–6 strips Bacon, chopped
- 1 medium-sized Onion, diced
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Mustard
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Optional Toppings: Chopped green onions, pickles, or sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Brown the ground beef and diced onion in a large skillet over medium heat for 7-8 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
- Incorporate the cooked bacon, ketchup, mustard, and garlic powder into the beef mixture. Stir until well combined.
- Layer the beef mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and top with frozen tater tots.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly, and tater tots are golden brown.
- Garnish with green onions, pickles, or sour cream before serving.
Notes
For an extra twist, customize with different toppings like jalapeños or BBQ sauce.
