  • 1 bag (approximately 28 oz) Tater Tots, frozen
  • 46 strips Bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium-sized Onion, diced
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Optional Toppings: Chopped green onions, pickles, or sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef and diced onion in a large skillet over medium heat for 7-8 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  3. Incorporate the cooked bacon, ketchup, mustard, and garlic powder into the beef mixture. Stir until well combined.
  4. Layer the beef mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and top with frozen tater tots.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly, and tater tots are golden brown.
  7. Garnish with green onions, pickles, or sour cream before serving.
