Ingredients
- Pretzel Dough
- Baking Soda
- Coarse Sea Salt
- Pizza Sauce
- Cheese Blend (Mozzarella, Provolone, or Cheddar)
- Pizza Toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, jalapeños)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare your dough by combining warm water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl and letting it sit for about 5 minutes.
- Create your pretzel base by rolling the dough into small balls.
- Boil a large pot of water and add baking soda, placing pretzel shapes in the boiling water for 30 seconds.
- Bake the pretzels on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 10-15 minutes until golden.
- Assemble the casserole by arranging baked pretzels in a greased dish and pouring pizza sauce over them.
- Return to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
