Description

A comforting casserole that combines tender chicken, crunchy pretzels, and a creamy sauce for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
  • 3 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine your cooked chicken, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Fold in ¾ cup of your shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Crush your pretzels until they are crumb-sized pieces, keeping some aside for topping.
  5. Add ½ cup of the crushed pretzels into your chicken mixture.
  6. Spread the creamy chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  7. Top with the remaining crushed pretzels and the remaining cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
  9. Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
