- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 1 cup pickles (diced)
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 cans of refrigerated biscuit dough
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, seasoning with salt and pepper, until fully cooked (about 7-10 minutes).
- Add the diced onions to the skillet and sauté until soft (about 5 minutes).
- Stir in pickles, mustard, and ketchup; remove from heat and sprinkle half the cheese on top.
- Prepare the biscuit base by cutting each biscuit into quarters.
- Assemble the pie by layering biscuit pieces in a greased dish, pouring the beef mixture over it, and topping with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
- Let the pie cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.
