Description

A masterclass in balance with crispy bacon, juicy tomatoes, fresh lettuce, and creamy mayo, all held together by perfect toast.


Ingredients

  • 810 slices of sliced bacon
  • 23 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 812 leaves of lettuce
  • 8 slices of bread
  • ½¾ cup mayonnaise
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • Unsalted butter (optional)
  • Bacon fat (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients first.
  2. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves thoroughly.
  3. Cook the bacon the way you like it.
  4. Toast the bread.
  5. Season the tomato slices.
  6. Mayo it up (but don’t over-saturate).
  7. Build the sandwich in layers for integrity.
  8. Slice and serve.

Notes

For added texture, try placing a pan-fried egg on top of the bacon for a BLTE.
