Description

A simple yet delicious peach cobbler that brings summer sweetness any time of the year.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (29 oz) sliced peaches in syrup
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your baking dish by greasing a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl: whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Mix in the wet ingredients: pour in the milk and melted butter, stirring until smooth.
  5. Add the vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the batter into the baking dish.
  7. Top with the can of sliced peaches (with syrup).
  8. Sprinkle a teaspoon of sugar on top of the peaches.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and set.
  10. Let it cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
