Description

A simple yet flavorful sautéed zucchini dish perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash the zucchinis under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry and slice them into half-moons about ¼ inch thick.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until bubbly but not browned.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Sauté the sliced zucchini in the skillet, stirring to coat evenly.
  5. Season with salt and pepper as it cooks.
  6. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and slightly caramelized.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  8. Transfer the zucchini to a serving dish and drizzle any remaining butter over the top.

Notes

Great served with grilled chicken or salmon. Feel free to add Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs for extra flavor.
