Description
Crispy chicken tenders coated in a sweet and spicy Korean-style glaze, made effortlessly in an air fryer.

- 8 pieces of chicken tenders
- 1 cup of crushed corn flakes
- 1 tbsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of pepper
- 1 tbsp of avocado oil
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 2 stalks of green onions (whites and greens separated)
- 2 tbsp of gochujang
- 3 tbsp of honey
- 3 tbsp of ketchup
- 2 tbsp of mirin
- 1 tbsp of sesame oil
- Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Rinse the chicken tenders under cold water and pat them dry.
- Beat the eggs in one bowl and combine the corn flakes, garlic powder, and paprika in another.
- Dip each chicken tender in the egg mixture and then roll in the corn flake mixture.
- Spray the air fryer basket with avocado oil and place the chicken tenders inside.
- Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of avocado oil in a skillet, sauté garlic and green onion whites.
- Add gochujang, honey, ketchup, mirin, and sesame oil to the skillet and stir until combined.
- Transfer the crispy chicken to a bowl and toss with the sauce.
- Garnish with green onion greens and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Serve with rice or a fresh slaw to balance the rich flavors. Can be adjusted for gluten-free options.
