Description

Juicy chicken thighs drizzled with a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze, perfect for a cozy dinner or gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prep your chicken by patting the thighs dry and seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat up the oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the chicken thighs, skin-side down, for 6-7 minutes until golden-brown.
  4. Flip the chicken and cook for another 10-12 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Make the hot honey sauce by combining honey, hot sauce, and garlic powder in a small pot and heating over low.
  6. Glaze the chicken in the hot honey sauce once cooked.
  7. Rest the chicken for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a healthier version, try baking the chicken with a breadcrumb coating. Adjust the hot sauce for your preferred spice level.
