Instructions
- Prepare your dough by kneading or letting store-bought dough rest.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Layer mozzarella, pepperoni, remaining mozzarella, and Italian seasoning on the dough.
- Roll up the dough tightly from one long edge.
- Cut the log into 10-12 rolls.
- Prep the baking dish by greasing lightly.
- Whisk the egg for an optional wash over the rolls.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool before serving with marinara sauce.
