Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup gochujang
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, combine the gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Whisk until everything is well mixed.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or bowl. Pour the marinade over the chicken and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Grill or Pan: Get your grill or skillet ready! Preheat it over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade. Cook on the grill or skillet for about 6-8 minutes on each side.
  5. Make the Glaze: In a small saucepan, pour the leftover marinade and bring to a boil over medium heat. Let it simmer until it thickens slightly.
  6. Glaze the Chicken: Brush the cooked chicken with the thickened marinade glaze for an additional minute on each side.
  7. Rest the Chicken: Remove from heat and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
  8. Plate Your Dish: Slice the chicken if desired, plate it up, and drizzle with extra glaze. Finish with chopped green onions.
