- 1 cup pitted cherries (fresh or frozen)

- 2–3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla)
- Chopped almonds and additional cherries for garnish

Instructions
- Prepare the Cherries: Wash, pit, and chop fresh cherries or thaw and drain frozen cherries.
- Cream the Yogurt: Beat Greek yogurt until smooth and creamy.
- Mix in the Sweetness: Add honey or maple syrup and almond extract; mix until combined.
- Add in the Protein Powder: Sprinkle protein powder while mixing to avoid lumps.
- Fold in the Cherries: Gently fold chopped cherries into the yogurt mixture.
- Chill it Out: Spoon mixture into serving bowls and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped almonds and add whole cherries before serving.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, use coconut yogurt or silken tofu. Customize your mousse with different fruit or flavor variations.
