Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted cherries (fresh or frozen)

  • 23 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla)
  • Chopped almonds and additional cherries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cherries: Wash, pit, and chop fresh cherries or thaw and drain frozen cherries.
  2. Cream the Yogurt: Beat Greek yogurt until smooth and creamy.
  3. Mix in the Sweetness: Add honey or maple syrup and almond extract; mix until combined.
  4. Add in the Protein Powder: Sprinkle protein powder while mixing to avoid lumps.
  5. Fold in the Cherries: Gently fold chopped cherries into the yogurt mixture.
  6. Chill it Out: Spoon mixture into serving bowls and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped almonds and add whole cherries before serving.
