Ingredients

  • 24 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)
  • 23 tbsp nut butter (peanut, almond, cashew)
  • 1/21 cup Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt (optional)
  • 12 tbsp pure maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Toppings and coatings (dark chocolate chips, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, granola, crushed pretzels)
  • 1 tsp lemon or lime juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel the ripe bananas and slice them into 1/2–1-inch coins.
  2. Combine banana slices with nut butter, cocoa powder, yogurt, vanilla, salt, and sweetener in a blender.
  3. Process until smooth and creamy, aiming for a soft-serve texture.
  4. Spoon the mixture into molds or onto a lined tray.
  5. Freeze for 2–4 hours until firm.
  6. Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil and dip the frozen bites.
  7. Roll bites in chopped nuts, coconut, or granola for a coating if not using chocolate.
  8. Store in airtight containers in the freezer.
