Description

Savor the flavors of perfectly marinated grilled rib eye steaks that melt in your mouth, ideal for family gatherings or backyard barbecues.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 rib eye steaks (1-inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Whisk them together until well blended. Let the marinade sit for about 10 minutes.
  2. Marinate the Steaks: Place the rib eye steaks in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are completely coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Heat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F). Brush the grill grates with a little oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Grill the Steaks: Remove the steaks from the marinade and place them on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them.
  5. Flip the Steaks: After about 4-5 minutes, flip the steaks and continue grilling for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness (130°F).
  6. Rest Your Steaks: Remove the rib eye steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes to redistribute juices.
  7. Slice and Serve: After resting, slice the steaks against the grain and enjoy with your favorite sides.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add sriracha to the marinade or incorporate fresh herbs for added flavor. Perfectly paired with roasted veggies or a fresh salad.
