- 3 cups fresh raspberries, mashed
- 5 ripe peaches, peeled, chopped, and mashed
- 1.75-ounce package premium fruit pectin
- 4 cups white sugar
Instructions
- Prepare your fruit by washing raspberries under cold water and mashing. Peel, chop, and mash the peaches.
- Combine the mashed raspberries, peaches, and pectin in a large saucepan and stir.
- Cook the mixture over medium heat until it reaches a full boil, about 8-10 minutes.
- Add the sugar and return to a full rolling boil for exactly one minute, stirring constantly.
- Test the jam’s consistency by placing a spoonful on a cold plate.
- Prepare sterilized jars while the jam cooks.
- Fill each jar with jam, leaving 1/4 inch of headspace, and wipe the rims.
- Let the jam cool completely at room temperature.
Notes
For long-term storage, process the jars in a boiling water bath for about 5-10 minutes.
