Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh raspberries, mashed
  • 5 ripe peaches, peeled, chopped, and mashed
  • 1.75-ounce package premium fruit pectin
  • 4 cups white sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare your fruit by washing raspberries under cold water and mashing. Peel, chop, and mash the peaches.
  2. Combine the mashed raspberries, peaches, and pectin in a large saucepan and stir.
  3. Cook the mixture over medium heat until it reaches a full boil, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Add the sugar and return to a full rolling boil for exactly one minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Test the jam’s consistency by placing a spoonful on a cold plate.
  6. Prepare sterilized jars while the jam cooks.
  7. Fill each jar with jam, leaving 1/4 inch of headspace, and wipe the rims.
  8. Let the jam cool completely at room temperature.

Notes

For long-term storage, process the jars in a boiling water bath for about 5-10 minutes.
