Description

A simple and flavorful comfort food dish combining kielbasa, green beans, and potatoes cooked in a crockpot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by slicing the kielbasa, chopping the onion, and mincing the garlic. Trim the green beans and halve the baby potatoes.
  2. Layer the ingredients in the crockpot, starting with the sliced kielbasa, followed by the chopped onion, minced garlic, halved potatoes, and topped with green beans.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, then pour the chicken broth over the top.
  4. Set your crockpot to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Serve after cooking is complete, gently stirring to combine and adjusting seasoning if necessary.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water during the last hour of cooking. Fresh herbs or balsamic vinegar can also enhance the flavor.
