Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until undercooked by about 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  3. Sauté the garlic in the same skillet for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Create the creamy sauce by adding heavy cream and simmering it, then stirring in cheese until melted.
  5. Combine the drained pasta and beef into the skillet, tossing until well coated with sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
