Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Russet potatoes
  • 1 head of garlic
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube the potatoes, soak them in cold water for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and roast the garlic for 30-35 minutes until soft.
  3. Boil the potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender.
  4. Drain the potatoes and mash them until creamy.
  5. Mix in the butter and cream, adjusting seasoning as needed.
  6. Add the roasted garlic and mix until combined.
  7. Serve garnished with fresh chives or parsley.
