- 1 pound smoked sausage (halal-certified, no pork)
- 4 cups baby potatoes, halved or quartered
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (ensure it’s halal-certified)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional, for serving)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the potatoes by washing and halving or quartering.
- Toss the potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and half of the ranch seasoning.
- Roast the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet for about 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Combine the roasted potatoes with the sausage and add the remaining ranch seasoning.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the mixture and cover to let it melt for 5 minutes.
- Serve it up with a garnish of fresh parsley!
