Instructions

  1. Prep the Bread: Slice your thick bread into generous pieces, about 1-inch thick. Lay them out on a plate and let them dry for about 10 minutes.
  2. Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet, cook your bacon over medium heat until crisp, about 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer the bacon to paper towels to drain excess grease.
  3. Make the Custard: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, bourbon, and cinnamon until well combined.
