- 3 packages of ramen noodles
- 2–3 tablespoons cooking oil of choice
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs (optional)
- 1 onion, diced
- Kosher salt and pepper to taste
- 6–7 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup Bachan’s Japanese BBQ Sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 to 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 bunch of green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
- Optional: more BBQ sauce, sesame seeds, yum yum sauce for garnish
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients: dice your onion, mince the garlic, and cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
- Cook the chicken: heat the oil over medium-high heat, add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Sauté the aromatics: add onion and minced garlic, cook until translucent and fragrant.
- Cook the ramen: boil water, add ramen noodles, cook according to package instructions (3-4 minutes), drain and set aside.
- Bring it all together: stir in BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and sriracha, then toss in the cooked ramen noodles.
- Add green onions: mix through and let rest for a minute before serving.
