Ingredients

  • 3 packages of ramen noodles
  • 23 tablespoons cooking oil of choice
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs (optional)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • Kosher salt and pepper to taste
  • 67 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup Bachan’s Japanese BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 bunch of green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • Optional: more BBQ sauce, sesame seeds, yum yum sauce for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: dice your onion, mince the garlic, and cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cook the chicken: heat the oil over medium-high heat, add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Sauté the aromatics: add onion and minced garlic, cook until translucent and fragrant.
  4. Cook the ramen: boil water, add ramen noodles, cook according to package instructions (3-4 minutes), drain and set aside.
  5. Bring it all together: stir in BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and sriracha, then toss in the cooked ramen noodles.
  6. Add green onions: mix through and let rest for a minute before serving.
