  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  3. Beat together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Incorporate the vanilla extract.
  6. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  7. Alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture until just combined.
  8. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
