Description

Juicy and flavorful BBQ Bacon Blackstone Smash Burgers packed with crispy bacon, smoky BBQ sauce, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20)
  • 8 slices Bacon (thick-cut)
  • ½ cup Onions (diced)
  • 4 slices Cheese (Cheddar or preferred)
  • ½ cup BBQ Sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 4 Burger Buns (brioche or preferred)

Instructions

  1. Prep your bacon: Cook the bacon evenly on a skillet until crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
  2. Sauté the onions in the leftover bacon grease until soft and golden, around 5-7 minutes.
  3. Form the burgers by dividing ground beef into equal portions and smashing them onto the hot cooking surface.
  4. Season the patties with salt and pepper, pressing an indentation in the center.
  5. Flip the patties when golden brown and place cheese on top to melt.
  6. Assemble the burgers with the bottom bun, cheese-covered patties, bacon, sautéed onions, BBQ sauce, and top bun.
  7. Dig in and serve immediately with your favorite sides.

Notes

For added flavor, consider mixing in jalapeños or using other types of cheese.
