Ingredients

  • 8 oz Pasta (Rotini or Elbow)
  • 1 lb Ground Beef (or Turkey)
  • 4 strips Bacon
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups Lettuce, chopped (Romaine)
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup Pickles, diced
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil water in a large pot, add salt, and cook pasta according to package instructions (8-10 minutes). Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned (5-7 minutes), draining excess fat.
  3. Cook the Bacon: In another skillet, fry bacon until crispy (4-5 minutes), then drain on paper towels.
  4. Combine All Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta, cooked beef, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and cheese. Toss gently.
  5. Make Burger Dressing: Whisk together ketchup, mayo, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  6. Dress the Salad: Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.

Notes

For added flavor, toss a bit of olive oil with pasta to prevent sticking. Adjust dressing ingredients to taste.
