Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 cup blueberries, rinsed
  • 1 large apple, diced (recommended: Granny Smith)
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 12 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • Cinnamon chips (made from flour tortillas)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Wash all the fruit, hull and chop the strawberries, and dice the apples.
  2. Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, combine fruit, lime zest, lime juice, and honey or maple syrup.
  3. Allow the salsa to marinate for 15-30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate for an hour.
  4. Prepare the cinnamon chips: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and cut tortillas into triangles. Arrange on a baking sheet, apply olive oil, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Serve salsa with cinnamon chips. Garnish with lime zest.
