Festive deviled eggs with a colorful red, white, and blue twist, perfect for celebrations.

- 12 large eggs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon or yellow mustard
- 1–2 teaspoons paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Red and blue food coloring
- Fresh chives for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the eggs: Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Cover, turn off heat, and let sit for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool and peel: Drain hot water, fill saucepan with cold water and ice. Let sit, crack shells, and peel eggs.
- Prepare the filling: Slice eggs in half, remove yolks, and mash with mayo, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Color it up: Divide yolk mixture into three bowls and mix red food coloring in one, blue in another, leaving one plain.
- Fill those eggs: Use piping bags to fill egg whites with colored yolk mixtures, creating a red, white, and blue effect.
- Garnish and serve: Sprinkle paprika and add chopped chives on top before arranging the eggs on a platter.
Notes
Feel free to modify the recipe by using Greek yogurt in place of mayonnaise for a lighter version.
