Instructions

  1. Cook the gnocchi by boiling salted water, adding the gnocchi until they float, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the garlic in olive oil over medium heat for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes and bring to a gentle simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir, cooking for another 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Combine the cooked gnocchi with the sauce, seasoning with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Serve in bowls, garnishing with fresh basil.
