  • Author: Jackson Walker
  • Total Time: 4 hours
  • Yield: 1012 slices 1x

Ingredients

Scale

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp instant yeast (or active dry yeast)

1 ½ tsp salt

1 ½ cups warm water (around 110°F/43°C)

Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk flour, yeast, and salt together.

Add warm water and stir until a sticky dough forms.

Cover with plastic wrap or a towel and let rise at room temperature for 2–3 hours (or until doubled in size).

Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven or oven-safe pot with lid inside to heat.

Lightly flour your hands and shape dough into a rough ball. Let rest while the oven heats.

Carefully place dough into the hot pot, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.

Uncover and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until golden and crisp.

Cool slightly, slice, and enjoy!
