A colorful and festive twist on the classic Rice Krispies Treats, perfect for Easter celebrations.

- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows or 6 cups mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Easter egg candies (for decoration)
Instructions
- Prep your surface: Lightly grease a 9×13-inch pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter: In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter, stirring occasionally.
- Add the marshmallows: Once the butter is melted, add all of your marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Stir in the vanilla: Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Mix in the Rice Krispies: Slowly add the Rice Krispies to the pot, folding gently.
- Gently fold in the Easter candies: Mix in the Easter egg candies, reserving some for decoration.
- Spread and set: Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press down evenly.
- Cut and serve: Once set, cut into squares and top with remaining Easter candies.
Notes
For a vegan version, use coconut oil instead of butter and gelatin-free marshmallows.
