Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.

Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Don’t overmix.

Fold in chocolate chips.

Scoop dough onto baking sheets.

Bake 10–12 mins until edges are set and centers look soft.

Cool 5 mins on sheet, then transfer to a rack.
