Ingredients
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
1 cup light corn syrup
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
3 large eggs
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt
1½ cups pecan halves
¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, whisk together corn syrup, both sugars, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
Pour mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is slightly puffed. Cover edges with foil if browning too quickly.
Cool completely before slicing for clean cuts and gooey perfection.
