Description

When the morning chill met my father’s favorite mug, it was filled with something earthy and sweet—this tahini coffee. With velvety sesame, deep espresso, and a swirl of date syrup, it’s a comforting fusion of Middle Eastern tradition and modern café charm. One sip, and you’re wrapped in warmth and heritage. Brew a cup—it’s more than coffee, it’s a connection.

Ingredients

Scale

Tahini Coffee Syrup (makes 4–5 servings):

3 oz tahini

3½ oz date syrup

1½ oz boiling water

½ tsp salt

To Make 1 Tahini Coffee:

1½ oz Tahini Coffee Syrup

2 oz espresso

10 oz whole milk (or milk of choice)

Instructions

Make the Syrup: In a bowl, whisk tahini, date syrup, boiling water, and salt until smooth. Store in a jar; refrigerate up to one week.

Brew & Blend: In a mug, combine 1½ oz of syrup with 2 oz hot espresso.

Add Milk: Warm and froth milk, then pour it over the coffee. Stir gently.

Sip & Savor: Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon or sesame if desired.
