Ingredients
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
¾ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
Zest of 1 large orange
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp orange extract (optional, but boosts flavor)
2 tbsp fresh orange juice
1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, cream butter, sugar, and orange zest until light and fluffy.
Add egg, vanilla, orange extract, and orange juice. Mix until combined.
Slowly add dry ingredients to wet, then fold in white chocolate chips.
Scoop dough onto baking sheet (about 1.5 tbsp each).
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are just golden. Cool before serving.
