  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup edible flower petals
  • Yogurt or whipped cream cheese for icing (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until just combined.
  7. Fold in the edible flower petals.
  8. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes and decorate with icing and sprinkles if desired.
