Ingredients

- 150 ml lukewarm milk
- 70 ml lukewarm water
- 7 g instant yeast
- 12 g honey
- 400 g all-purpose flour
- 7 g salt
- 30 g unsalted butter (room temperature)
Instructions
- Mix the Wet Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the lukewarm milk and water. Add honey and yeast to the mix.
- Combine the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk the flour and salt together.
- Create the Dough: Make a well in the center of the flour and pour in your wet mixture. Knead in the butter.
- Let It Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth.
- Form the Buns: Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions. Shape each piece into a ball.
- Second Rise: Place the dough balls on a baking sheet, cover, and let them rise for about 30 minutes.
- Fry Away: Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat and carefully place the buns in hot oil.
- Drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
