Description

Delicious no-bake bars made with crispy rice cereal, peanut butter, and a chocolate-butterscotch topping.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups rice cereal
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Pan: Grease a 9×13-inch pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Heat Corn Syrup and Sugar: Combine corn syrup and sugar over medium heat, stirring until it boils.
  3. Add Peanut Butter: Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  4. Combine with Rice Cereal: Pour the mixture over rice cereal and stir to coat.
  5. Press Mixture into Pan: Transfer to the greased pan and press down evenly.
  6. Melt Chocolate and Butterscotch Chips: Combine in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave until smooth.
  7. Pour Topping Over Cereal Mixture: Spread melted mixture over the pressed cereal.
  8. Chill and Set: Refrigerate for about 2 hours.
  9. Cut and Enjoy: Cut into squares and serve.
