Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken Thighs
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 piece Green Chili
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Ginger
  • 2 pieces Onions
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 2 tsp Ground Coriander
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 5 pieces Tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Coriander
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 100 ml Water

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients: Dice the onions, chop the tomatoes, and mince garlic and ginger.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Combine chicken thighs with spices and salt. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Sauté the Onions: Heat oil and sauté onions until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Add Garlic, Ginger, and Green Chili: Sauté until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Toss in the Tomatoes: Cook until soft, about 7-8 minutes.
  6. Add the marinated chicken and water; stir to coat.
  7. Lower the Heat and Simmer: Cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked and tender.
  8. Uncover and Season: Adjust the thickness and add coriander and lemon juice.
  9. Taste and Adjust: Adjust seasoning to your preference.

Notes

Serve hot with basmati rice or naan and yogurt for a perfect meal.
