- 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 8 oz pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Red pepper flakes for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add your pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente (about 8–10 minutes). While that’s cooking, you can start prepping your sauce.
- Prepare the broccoli: Add the broccoli florets into the pasta water during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Strain the pasta and broccoli together and set aside.
- Sauté the garlic: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
- Create the sauce: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring until it begins to simmer. Gently mix in the grated Parmesan cheese, letting it melt into that creamy goodness.
- Combine ingredients: Once the cheese has melted, stir in the shredded rotisserie chicken and the cooked pasta and broccoli. Mix everything until coated in that creamy sauce.
- Season to taste: Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) to elevate those flavors.
- Serve it up: Dish it out onto plates or into a beautiful serving bowl. Sprinkle a touch more Parmesan and a few red pepper flakes on top for a pop of color.
