Description

A comforting and creamy pasta dish featuring shredded rotisserie chicken, vibrant broccoli, and a rich Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 8 oz pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add your pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente (about 8–10 minutes). While that’s cooking, you can start prepping your sauce.
  2. Prepare the broccoli: Add the broccoli florets into the pasta water during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Strain the pasta and broccoli together and set aside.
  3. Sauté the garlic: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Create the sauce: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring until it begins to simmer. Gently mix in the grated Parmesan cheese, letting it melt into that creamy goodness.
  5. Combine ingredients: Once the cheese has melted, stir in the shredded rotisserie chicken and the cooked pasta and broccoli. Mix everything until coated in that creamy sauce.
  6. Season to taste: Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) to elevate those flavors.
  7. Serve it up: Dish it out onto plates or into a beautiful serving bowl. Sprinkle a touch more Parmesan and a few red pepper flakes on top for a pop of color.
