- 1 pound thinly sliced steak (flank, sirloin, or ribeye)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté the onions and bell peppers in olive oil for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season the sliced steak with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Drizzle Worcestershire sauce over the steak and veggies, stirring to coat.
- Assemble the casserole in a greased baking dish, layering half of the steak mixture and half of the provolone cheese, then repeat.
- Bake for 20 minutes until the cheese is melty and bubbly.
- Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with crusty rolls or garlic bread for sopping up cheesy goodness. Garnish with parsley or green onions.
