Ingredients
Cookies:
2 cups unsalted butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
4 tablespoons orange juice
2 teaspoons orange zest
5 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups chopped fresh cranberries
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Glaze:
3 cups confectioners’ sugar
6 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon orange zest
Optional Twists:
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract to the dough
Mix ½ teaspoon cinnamon or cardamom into the dry ingredients

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, cream butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
Beat in eggs, orange juice, and zest until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and any optional spices. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.
Fold in cranberries and walnuts (if using).
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
